This presentation will provide an overview of common complications encountered in equine surgery, including both intraoperative and postoperative challenges. Emphasis will be placed on recognizing complications early, understanding contributing risk factors, and selecting practical strategies for management. Clinical cases will be used to illustrate decision-making, treatment approaches, and lessons that can help improve outcomes in surgical patients.
