Competency, Quality, and Growth: Redefining Surgical Residency Education On-Demand

This seminar covers key issues relevant to the development of surgeons through ACVS residency training programs. Lectures explore how quality assurance and program oversight can improve training, the use of competency-based educational models to promote better outcomes, and well-being and non-operative skills training as part of a holistic educational program to support success. Expert speakers and learners are invited to participate in an interactive panel discussion to explore complex topics like the surgical training pipeline and how to remediate struggling trainees.

RACE Program #20-1319761 is approved for 3.25 hours of continuing education credits in jurisdictions which recognize the American Association of Veterinary State Boards’ (AAVSB) Registry of Approved Continuing Education (RACE).
